Meet Our Team

Putting God first in everything they do is of the utmost importance to Skip and Marsha Wahl. They know every person that walks through the doors of The Final Touch Design is a divine appointment. It’s a chance to listen, to encourage and to do what they can to make that person or couple feel loved and important. “It’s our relationship with God that has prompted us to desire relationships with others and to know that we’ve made a positive difference in their lives, whether they buy something from us or not,” Skip says. “We do our best to apply God’s principles to our company.” Skip worked in the cabinet business for many years before he felt a strong calling to go to seminary. His plan was to become a pastor to pastors, to ease their load. He served as a pastor for about two years before he realized he could combine both passions – serving God and families. Marsha, a diehard Georgia Bulldogs fan, works as the office manager. Her background is in medical, ministry and accounting. She loves to cook for people, plant flowers and spend time outdoors.

Lisa comes to The Final Touch Design from the western suburbs of Chicago. Her design career began while working for an agricultural building company owned by her late father. She worked alongside him in the engineering department designing large farming equipment for the ag industry throughout the midwestern United States. After her father passed away, she put her design experience to use in the home industry designing kitchens and baths. Her career focus for the last 25 years has been high end new construction and remodels, including traditional and contemporary projects. . Lisa is enjoying the vast difference in scenery, the friendly people, and the freshness of modern coastal design. She is grateful to have found The Final Touch Design and her employers, Skip and Marsha Wahl, who have shown her great kindness. She knew she was in the right place as soon as she met them.

Tim Sweeney came to TFTD after a long career as a government contractor working for the United States Navy. His job was to design, build and maintain ranges and training sites for Naval Special Warfare. After he retired, Tim opened a small engine repair business. Fixing small engines was a hobby he developed as a young man maintaining equipment used on the family property. Tim and his wife Tracey decided it was time to move closer to the many family members they have living in Northwest Florida. TFTD needed help overseeing renovations and installations of cabinetry and countertops, and Tim’s background in construction and project management made the perfect fit. His favorite part of the job is seeing the transformation from old to new. He’s the guy on the ground making sure things happen the way they should to ensure a happy customer in the end. Tim and Tracey have two daughters, Emma and Amanda. He enjoys fishing, hunting and dabbling in small engine mechanics and has played the drums since he was about 12 years old for his church and later for local bands.
